An eleven member AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) group is coming to the West Hartford, Quechee, and Sharon area to work on homes of Tropical Storm Irene survivors from September 26 through October 11, 2012. The NCCC group plans to arrive at the Sharon Congregational Church today, Wednesday, September 25, 2012 at 3 p.m.
A community open forum will be held on October 11th at 7 p.m. at the Sharon Congregational Church for the NCCC team to share their experiences. State and town officials, members of the community, all UV Strong members, and the press are invited to this gathering.
